Timna Woollard

Timna is a London based fine and decorative artist. As a child she travelled the world with her film designer parents on their projects. Her playground was the magical worlds of the film sets. Later she studied history of art and fell in love with the Renaissance. After graduating in fine art she painted backdrops for editorial magazines, which led to 30 years of experience working to commission collaboratively with interior designers and private clients specialising in hand painted Fine Art, Portraits, Illustration, Murals, Trompe L'oeil, Painted Grisaille, Decorative Arts, Specialist Painting, Faux Finishes, Eglomise Glass, in a myriad of styles, classical to contemporary. Her work has dressed exquisite homes, restaurants, private clubs, film sets, commercials, leading editorials, books, and even the human form itself.

Print to Order Wallcoverings

Featured in The World of Interiors, House & Garden, & Homes & Gardens magazines.

Having worked with some of the most exclusive international interior designers, it has been Timna's long time desire to bring the spirit of hand painted walls to a more accessible market.

Timna started her first print to order wallcovering collections with Les Fauves, followed by theTrailing Hearts and Vines collection of botanical mural wallpapers. This will soon be followed by some more new exciting collections.

All our printed designs originate as hand-painted, works of art. We scan the completed paintings in super-high resolution before preparing them for print in England on quality paper ready-trimmed and ready to hang, using the quick and easy ‘paste the wall’ application and removal.

Artworks

Verre Eglomise

The art of reverse painting, etching and gilding precious metals on the reverse side of glass is referred to as "verre eglomise" popularised by 18th century French decorator and art-dealer Jean-Baptise Glomy (1711–1786), although it is an art technique that can be found on artwork predating Roman times.

Hand Painted Commissions

Our hand painted wallcoverings are on a commission basis. An example of this is our Hand Painted Japanese Blossom Trees Mural.

This design was inspired by Japaneses Bird & Blossom screens. It was originally designed to hang behind a master bed for a private client in Regents Park, London. It was painted onto antique silver leafed panels.

It is now available as a commissioned product. It is a hand painted wallpaper on either sliver leaf or warm antiqued pearl finish, as standard.

Custom colourways and finishes are also available.
